JTC Home Health Inc. is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing interdisciplinary team and serve patients primarily in the Alpine, CA area and surrounding East County regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement delegated components of the physical therapy treatment plan as established by the Supervising Physical Therapist (PT).
- Provide skilled therapeutic exercises, functional training, gait training, and other physical modalities as ordered.
- Observe, document, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes in condition to the Supervising PT and the interdisciplinary team in a timely manner.
- Educate and instruct patients and their families/caregivers on proper body mechanics, use of adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation using the agency's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic home environment for the patient.
Qualifications and Requirements

Associate's Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by CAPTE.
- Current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of California.

Minimum of 1 year of recent, hands-on clinical experience; home health experience is a significant plus.
- Valid CA Driver's License and reliable transportation for travel between patient homes.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Excellent clinical judgment, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a home setting.
Compensation & Schedule

Competitive Per-Visit Pay (Home Health PTA rates in the San Diego area typically range from $70 - $55+ per visit depending on experience and visit type. We offer a highly competitive rate to attract top talent).
